QC:MXP version 2.2 includes minor bug fixes and expanded functionality (see UPDATES below); however, the basic operation of the QC-RSC engine has not changed from the previous version 2.0

The binary installation files are listed below. Choose the one that matches your operating system (Apple Intel or Apple Silicon, Windows 10, Windows 11, or Matlab App). Download (unzip if Apple) and run. The helper app will guide you through installation. Once installed, if you have trouble finding the app on your computer just use the search bar.

Please, please, please! read the Github quick start tutorial before using.

VERY IMPORTANT FOR APPLE USERS:

Due to Apple gatekeeping the ability to download from a non approved source you have to use a workaround to open the installer app. You do this at your own risk (trusting my software is not malware). So for Silicon users download the QCMXPInstaller_macOSAppleSilicon.zip file to your ~/Downloads folder. Unzip the file. Open a terminal app (type 'terminal' in the search bar and open). enter: xattr -c ~/Downloads/QCMXPInstaller_macOSAppleSilicon.app . Go back to the Downloads folder and now double-click (open) the QCMXPInstaller_macOSAppleSilicon.app. Everything should now install smoothly. Same process for the QCMXPInstaller_macOSi64.zip file (i.e.xattr -c ~/Downloads/QCMXPInstaller_macOSi64.app). In future releases I will endeavor to make these steps unnecessary.

ALSO IMPORTANT FOR APPLE USERS:

Installing this version as an update to a previous version, you must delete the QCMXP folder (within the Applications folder) before installation. This OSX installer will not overwrite folders with the same name (a Matlab quirk).

VERY IMPORTANT MICROSOFT USERS:

As with Apple, Microsoft is keen to point out that I am not a recognised software developer and not to trust my software. You will have to explicitly approve the download and installation of this application. Again, you do this at your own risk (trusting my software is not malware).

UPDATES

• The Feature Inclusion PreFilter can how be disabled.
• The x-axis in the Batch Explorer app can now be expanded (with a scrollbar) if the number of samples > 400. This allows a more detailed view of the data point for large-scale studies.
• Bug Fix - the output feature table now reports the correct refRSD values (Previously qcRSD were reported twice).
