Description

Grammar holds a very significant position in the process of communication in foreign languages, especially in developing oral speech in English and expressing meaningful sentences accurately. During a conversation, conveying the main idea reflected in the syntactic structure with clarity of meaning, grammatical consistency, and logical coherence requires a solid understanding of grammatical rules. While fluency and pronunciation are important in real communication, grammar is defined as a central unit that not only forms the effectiveness of spoken language but also makes it more appealing. In academic and professional contexts, speech constructed according to grammatical rules reflects the speaker’s academic level and communicative competence, inevitably increasing listeners’ respect and positive attitude toward the speaker. In addition, this linguistic unit helps eliminate misunderstandings that may occur during speech. Therefore, the role of grammatical competencies in forming high-level spoken English is of great importance.
