D2.4 Annual Women in Digital (WiD) Index and Scoreboard V1

The Annual Women in Digital (WiD) Index and Scoreboard V1 document provides a dataset containing the WiD Index scores for the EU and individual Member States. This document serves as a companion to the WiD Index dataset (.xls) featured in D2.2 WiD index foundational data and survey findings, providing insights into the methodology and limitations underlying the development of the Index, including the use of primary and secondary data and the country scoring approach. The Index and scoreboard aim to track and benchmark the participation of girls and women across the digital pipeline, from the beginning of their education in STEM to leadership roles in the digital sector. This document also includes a section that guides users through the online dashboard visualizations, available for consulting and interacting with the Index at https://index.widigital.eu/index/. A detailed analysis of country-level Index scores will be presented in D5.1 – State of WiD report.
