Thisarticleanalyzesthepedagogicalsignificanceofextracurriculareducationalactivitiesinforminganddevelopingstudents’readingcultureingeneralsecondaryschoolsfromascientificandtheoreticalperspective.Ithighlightspossibilitiesforincreasinginterestinfictionthroughthecontent,forms,andmethodsofextracurricularactivities.Theeffectivenessofliteraryclubs,readingcompetitions,literaryevenings,andcreativemeetingsissubstantiated.Theteacher’sorganizationalandguidingroleisemphasizedasanimportantfactor.Researchfindingsshowthatextracurricularactivitiesfosterindependentthinking,speechculture,moraldevelopment,learningmotivation,andactiveparticipationineducationalprocesseswithinschools,offeringpracticalimplicationsforeducatorsandinstitutions.
