Architectural and structural design of the Tianjin Hongqiao middle school teaching building in Hongqiao district, Tianjin city
Authors/Creators
Description
This report is about the calculation of the Tianjin Hongqiao middle school teaching
building in Hongqiao district, Tianjin city.
The architecture design includes architectural scheme design, the design of
architecture finishes and the plane, elevation and section design of the building.
This design implements the design principle of "practical, safe, economical and
aesthetically impressive". In accordance with the architectural design specifications, the
factors affecting the design should be carefully considered according to the relationship
between the structure and the overall details of the building.
The structural design consists of two parts: the computerized part using YJK
Structural analytic software and the hand-calculated part. The results obtained from the YJK
software were adjusted and re-calculated iteratively until the building structure meets the
safety requirements such as the earthquake-resistance requirements, and the last adjustment is
applied for hand-calculated part. The hand-calculated part consists of the section size
calculations, distribution and dead load. Architectural drawings were completed through
AutoCAD while the construction drawings were completed through the YJK software.
In the design process, the whole structure strictly follows the requirements of relevant
specialties and norms, refers to relevant materials and relevant national norms, and
comprehensively and scientifically considers all aspects of the design requirements. In a
word, the principle of this design is applicable, safe, economical and usable. Reasonable
design of building structure is an important basis for site construction
