RESUMO
Cordel 2.0 conecta a Periferia e Inteligência Artificial (IA), unindo a tradição da Literatura de Cordel com a Cultura Popular Digital. A experiência se propôs na missão de democratizar o acesso à cultura, promover a inclusão digital pela educação e fortalecer a identidade cultural das comunidades.
A metodologia proposta visa impulsionar o desenvolvimento local, construindo um legado da arte da Literatura de Cordel no coração da periferia.
Em 2025, iniciou-se em Salvador/Bahia, a primeira edição, no Espaço Cultural Alagados, localizado no Bairro do Uruguai. A escrita criativa compõe histórias que celebram o patrimônio imaterial do Cordel enquanto desenvolvemos narrativas humanas com assistência responsável da IA generativa.

Abstract (English)
ABSTRACT
Cordel 2.0 connects the urban periphery and Artificial Intelligence (AI), bringing together the tradition of Literatura de Cordel with Digital Popular Culture. The initiative is driven by the mission to democratize access to culture, promote digital inclusion through education, and strengthen the cultural identity of communities.
The proposed methodology aims to foster local development, building a lasting legacy of the art of Cordel literature at the heart of the periphery.
In 2025, the first edition was launched in Salvador, Bahia, at Espaço Cultural Alagados, located in the Uruguai neighborhood. Creative writing gives shape to stories that celebrate the intangible heritage of Cordel while developing human narratives with the responsible assistance of generative AI.
