Resolution of Some Contradictions in the Theory of Gravity
Authors/Creators
Description
This note proposes a new concept of cosmic expansion and observability, eliminating the need for dark matter and dark energy. By relaxing the requirement that covariance under general coordinate transformations be exact, it also eliminates the need for negative energy and addresses the cosmological constant problem. By loosely formalizing the relationship between observation and the gravitational field, and by providing an intuitive view of the B-model in topological string theory and of mirror symmetry, the note suggests that the unification of quantum theory and gravity has, to some extent, already been partially achieved through mirror symmetry.
