Description

  1. Inverse whitening deprecated. Whitening is now applied during deconvolution, consistent with SPM PEB i.i.d. assumptions. In subsequent gPPI estimation, the raw (non-whitened) BOLD signal is used for the PHYS regressor to avoid double whitening.

  2. VOI extraction rewritten. VOIs are now computed using internal TMFC functions (no SPM batch). Both whitened & filtered and raw demeaned VOI time series are saved, reducing I/O and substantially speeding up computations.

  3. PPI computation optimized. PPI estimation now relies on internal TMFC functions, improving performance and saving only necessary data to disk.

  4. gPPI update. The raw demeaned VOI is used for the PHYS regressor to prevent double whitening.

  5. FIR task regression & BSC robustness. Trials with onsets before scan start or within the last 8 seconds of acquisition are now excluded.

  6. TMFC_denoise v1.4.4. Added task–FD and task–DVARS correlation metrics.
