An Open Quantum Systems Perspective on Cosmological Modeling

Authors/Creators

Description

This paper proposes an information-theoretic refinement of standard cosmological modeling by treating the Universe as an effective open quantum system. Rather than replacing the \LambdaCDM framework, the approach introduces a complementary layer that accounts for decoherence, entropy growth, and observer-limited information access. The formalism is intentionally conservative: it does not assert a fundamental non-unitary dynamics, but instead provides a consistent phenomenological description suitable for conceptual clarification and exploratory numerical studies.
