GeoLocator Data Package: Red-capped Robin-Chat and Mangrove Kingfisher from Kenya

Description:
This dataset contains geolocator tracking data for two Afro-tropical migrant bird species—Red-capped Robin-Chat (Cossypha natalensis) and Mangrove Kingfisher (Halcyon senegaloides)—collected as part of a research project started in 2020 based at A Rocha Kenya, Watamu, Kenya. The project aims to uncover the migration routes, timing, and strategies of these species, which are largely unknown despite their ecological importance and vulnerability to habitat fragmentation and climate change.
