In recent years, the study of gender in literature has gained increasing relevance, with new perspectives emerging that require further scholarly attention. This article explores the theme of infidelity and the portrayal of female characters in Nazar Eshonqul’s novel Urush odamlari (People of War) from a gender perspective. Through textual analysis, the study examines the writer’s approach to female infidelity, highlighting both traditional and innovative elements in character representation. The article identifies key similarities and differences in the depiction of gender roles, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of gender dynamics in contemporary Uzbek literature.
