Indian cinema is the mirror of the society and the most influential cultural medium in South Asia. It has historically played a vital role in shaping human perception of caste, social hierarchy and cultural identity. Cinema as categorised into two like mainstream and marginalized cinema. While mainstream cinema focused on the upper caste values, narratives and aesthetics. The visualisation of subaltetn and cast experience has remainded to sterotypical and invoiced. This paper shows the description of Subaltern caste aesthetics are negotiated and visualized in Indian cinema.
