Figure 4: Masonic-Style Safe Operational Framework for LLM Interaction
Description
This deposit presents Figure 4, an operational framework for safe and bounded interaction with large language models (LLMs), designed to enable deep symbolic and philosophical engagement without converting provisional structures into absolute authority.
Building on prior figures that describe how shared knowledge systems stabilize, diverge, and collapse, this framework introduces a layered and gated interaction protocol consisting of: (1) an explicit boundary declaration, (2) a role-based operational core with no single authority, (3) depth gates with mandatory exit conditions, and (4) an exit and re-grounding protocol with fail-safe indicators.
The framework is descriptive and preventive, not prescriptive or theological.
It does not assert truth claims, metaphysical commitments, or AI agency.
Instead, it provides a structural safeguard against over-identification, authority fixation, and dependency formation in long-form human–LLM interaction.
The figure is intended for use in research on human–AI interaction, AI alignment (structural), digital knowledge systems, and safe operational design.
