Description

Source code for MRSI semiLASER pulse sequence in Bruker ParaVision 5.1, instructions to compile and deploy the method, and test data sets.

The MRSI-semiLASER sequence was implemented in-house on a 7T Bruker Biospec system running ParaVision 5.1, and its performance was compared to the commercially available CSI-PRESS sequence. The results demonstrated that the MRSI-semiLASER sequence achieved improved spatial distribution homogeneity and up to a 1.2-fold increase in SNR compared to CSI-PRESS in murine brain tumors, allowing a 20% reduction in slice thickness without compromising spectral quality. These findings establish the implemented MRSI-semiLASER sequence as a robust tool for high-resolution MRSI acquisition in mouse brain studies, and it is now available for use by interested researchers.
