Three-Dimensional Verification of a Steel Frame Equipped with TADAS Dampers Using OpenSEESPy

In this verification study, a steel frame equipped with TADAS dampers was modeled in OpenSEESPy using the fiber-based approach, fully consistent with the reference study.

The original reference model was developed in SAP2000, and the OpenSEESPy model was carefully reconstructed to ensure equivalence. 

The verification was conducted by comparing the fundamental period and the pushover response, which showed very good agreement with the reference results.

The obtained outcomes confrim the sufficient accuracy and reliability of the proposed modeling approach.
