Coherent Cognition Framework — Phase I Prototype

Authors/Creators

Description

Release Notes — v1.0.2 (Phase I Prototype)

This release introduces the Phase I structural prototype of the Coherent Cognition Framework.

The system implements a minimal coherence-regulated cognitive architecture designed to demonstrate structural and dynamical principles described in the associated research paper.

Core Components

  • Global State G(t) representation
  • Claim Dependency Graph for structured beliefs
  • Coherence Metrics (C1–C6)
  • Coherence Regulator with repair dynamics
  • Cognitive tick loop
  • Visualization of coherence trajectories and claim graphs

Demonstrated Behaviors

  • Graceful degradation under semantic contradiction
  • Confidence decay for unsupported high-confidence claims
  • Identity stability across task variation
  • Observable coherence dynamics over time

These behaviors emerge from coherence-driven regulation rather than rule-based scripting.

Purpose of This Release This is a structural research prototype, intended to provide a computational instantiation of theoretical principles. It is not a task-performing AI system.

Next Steps Future releases will extend the framework with A-Test Lite evaluation, scaling of belief structures, and integration layers.
