The Crucifixion on Monday, April 14th, 32 CE: An Interdisciplinary Analysis

Abstract

This study establishes Monday, April 18th, 29 AD (Julian calendar) as the
most probable historical date for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. By analyzing
the shift in the day-reckoning system (from sunset to sunrise), it is demonstrated that the so-called ”Good Friday” corresponds in fact to a Monday in the modern calendar. Although my previous work correctly identified this displacement,
an error was made by declaring Monday, April 14th, 32 AD as the only
possible candidate. This paper corrects that error, proving that two years in
the range 28-36 AD have Nisan 14 on a Monday: 29 AD and 32 AD. Follow-
ing a comprehensive comparative evaluation, it is concluded that 29 AD offers a more complete and coherent convergence of evidence, particularly concerning the internal chronology of the New Testament, the historical experience of Pentecost, and a unique celestial symbolic pattern related to the Constellation of
Sagittarius
