U.Data - JURIMETRICS SURVIVAL KIT

This document officially announces the launch of the "Jurimetrics Survival Kit," a suite of seven computational applications developed by U.DATA – Empirical Legal Research Laboratory at Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (Brazil). In the current landscape of legal scholarship, the technical barrier to entry (specifically the requirement for programming literacy) has constrained the depth and robustness of quantitative analysis. To bridge this gap and democratize access to legal technology, the laboratory is releasing executable tools (.exe) that require no installation or environment configuration. These applications focus on automating data collection and processing, as well as supporting statistical inference. This release reinforces the laboratory’s commitment to Open Science, providing methodological instruments for both academic researchers and legal practitioners focused on efficiency.
