Description
Open Play is a longitudinal dataset combining multi-platform video game digital trace data with psychological assessments from participants in the US and UK. It includes behavioral telemetry from Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam, iOS, and Android, and daily/biweekly survey measures of wellbeing, sleep, stress, and basic psychological needs. Please see the README for a complete introduction to the dataset. A full variable description is in codebook.xlsx; an interactive codebook and descriptive statistics are at https://digital-wellbeing.github.io/open-play/.
What's Changed in this Release
- Match a few misnumbered columns from daily/biweekly/intake clean to codebook
- No longer carry through unnecessary columns to diary/biweekly clean
