Description
Ulnaria ulna (Nitzsch) Compère (2001: 100) (Fig. 1)
Morphology: Valves linear-lanceolate, 130–191 µm long, 8.3–8.9 µm wide. Apices gradually tapering, subcapitate. 6–8 reduced striae are present at each side of the valve, in the central portion. Striae density—9.5–10.5/10 µm.
Representative samples: O-5, O-8, O-9, O-10, O-11, O-12, O-15, O-16, O-103, O-L.
Ecology: found in samples with pH=5.16–8.60, t=6.3–13.7°С, Ec=10–420 µS/cm, TDS<0.20 ppt. Salinity and pH-indifferent, β-mesosaprobic.
