Description
Nitzschia acidoclinata Lange-Bertalot (1976: 277) (Fig. 14)
Morphology: Valves narrowly linear-lanceolate, 11.1–16.9 µm long, 2.3–2.6 µm wide. Apices moderately protracted, minute, subrostrate. Valves equipped with striae (31–34/10 µm) and fibulae (11–14.5/10 µm).
Representative samples: O-1, O-5, O-8, O-9, O-10, O-12, O-13, O-15, O-16, O-L.
Ecology: found in samples with pH=5.16–8.24, t=6.3–13.7°С, Ec=10–420 µS/cm, TDS<0.20 ppt. Salinity and pH-indifferent, oligo-β-mesosaprobic.
