Description

This dataset contains environmental, hydrological, and biological data collected in inland and coastal marine environments affected by the May 2023 Emilia-Romagna flood (Italy).

Data are organized following an event-based structure, with each sampling event uniquely identified and associated with multiple measurements, including physicochemical, hydrological, and biological variables.

The dataset supports the analyses presented in a study investigating ecosystem responses to extreme hydrometeorological events and is intended to ensure transparency and reproducibility of the results.

Raw metabarcoding sequencing data associated with this study are deposited in the European Nucleotide Archive under BioProject accession PRJEB107152.
