This record presents the complete Serbian translation of the Gospel of Matthew translated directly from Hebrew by Željko Stanojević. The translation constitutes an independent authorial and philological work and represents the first translation of the Gospel of Matthew from Hebrew into the Serbian language.

The translation was first published in 2009 as part of the book by Nehemia Gordon, Jevrejski Ješua ili grčki Isus: najveće biblijsko otkriće savremenog doba (Belgrade: Metaphysica). Although included within a book authored by another scholar, the translation itself is an original and self-contained translational contribution by Željko Stanojević.

Prior to this Zenodo release, the translation circulated in electronic form on external websites without a stable bibliographic identifier. The present Zenodo version constitutes the authoritative, citable, and archival edition of the translation and is assigned a DOI to ensure long-term accessibility, scholarly attribution, and proper citation.

The purpose of this record is to provide a definitive digital edition of the translation, enabling accurate discovery, citation, and academic use within digital research infrastructures, including Google Scholar and other scholarly indexes.
