Neurofascial Model of Psychological Trauma

Description

Official project website of the Fascia Code methodology:

The website provides background information, conceptual framework, and ongoing developments related to the neurofascial model described in this manuscript.

This work presents an original neurofascial model of psychological trauma, proposing a somatic mechanism underlying chronic psychophysiological states.

The model conceptualizes psychological trauma as a consequence of disrupted neurofascial conductivity caused by persistent fascial fixations formed during incomplete psychophysiological stress responses. These fixations generate ongoing pathological afferent signaling, maintaining a state of chronic activation independent of current external conditions.

The study introduces key theoretical constructs, including the concepts of fascial capsule formation, impaired afferent-efferent regulation, and the phenomenon of the “stuck impulse” as a neurofascial correlate of unresolved psychophysiological reactions.

This work is theoretical and observational in nature and does not claim to provide a finalized physiological explanation. It aims to establish a conceptual framework for further interdisciplinary research at the intersection of fascia studies, neurobiology, and trauma science.

All practical methods and applied techniques related to this model are outside the scope of this publication.

An English version of this work is in preparation.
