MOABCHI-MAFOPOCHE: Vers Une approche Holistique et Conceptuelle De La Gestion de Classe En Haïti

Authors/Creators

Description

The MOABCHI-MAFOPOCHE model proposes an innovative, holistic, and conceptual approach to classroom management, structured around seven pillars: discipline, cooperation, trust, perseverance, autonomy, observation, and benevolent leadership. Inspired by the author's Master II thesis on child maltreatment in the Haitian school context (Joseph, 2024), this work represents an independent conceptual article aimed at advancing classroom management research. The design of the model integrates cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral dimensions, ensuring both theoretical and practical coherence. The synergistic interaction of the pillars fosters academic learning, socio-emotional development of students, and the creation of an inclusive and positive classroom climate. This conceptual framework provides a solid basis for practical pedagogical applications and opens avenues for experimentation, empirical evaluation, and adaptation to diverse educational contexts. This work is also available as a preprint on EdArXiv: https://osf.io/hcfdj, initially submitted on January 18, 2026, and modified for this version on January 19, 2026.
