The Informational Foundations of the Universe - An Ontological Framework for Cosmology
Description
Contemporary cosmology describes the expansion of the universe with precision but stumbles upon a major ontological gap: the nature of the pre-physical substrate that allows reality to emerge. This paper proposes to fill this void with a new framework: the Infinite Field (Ψ), defined not as a physical object, but as the logical condition for all Informational Potentiality. Unlike an inert vacuum, this field is a foam of potentialities whose actualisation is governed by strict coherence thresholds (K_crit). We argue that the universe does not emerge ex nihilo, but through a cyclonic process of information condensation (the Sentinel Wave), triggered by the instability of non-actualised potentialities. This model integrates Black Holes not as destroyers, but as necessary coherence regulators maintaining the space-time fabric. Finally, we describe the terminal dynamics of the universe not as a heat death, but as an entropic extinction allowing the return of information to the Infinite Field, thus completing an eternal cosmological cycle.
