The Catalyst-Activated Cycle (CAC) defines a regenerative systems framework linking soil-biological recovery to measurable climate and financial outcomes. Earlier manuscripts (M1–M5) demonstrated that properly timed catalytic resets improve functional resilience, reduce emission intensity, and create durable carbon pools. Building on that foundation, Manuscript 6 extends CAC into the financial domain, proposing a model in which verified soil-functional data form the basis of transparent, equitable markets. The manuscript introduces the Functional Sustainability Architecture (FSA), translating biological metrics into finance-grade information through Functional Carbon Accounts (FCA), Functional Performance Assets (FPA), and aggregated Functional Performance Portfolios (FPP). These verified data streams circulate within proposed Functional Performance Markets (FPM) and a Circular Value Architecture (CVA)—a closed-loop system connecting soil function, governance, and economic return. By positioning soil function as both scientific evidence and financial infrastructure, CAC redefines sustainability as an operational economy of verified performance. This manuscript is part of a six-paper series describing the Catalyst-Activated Cycle (CAC), a framework for measuring soil functional recovery, agronomic performance, and climate outcomes.
