Climate Policy Atlas: Renewable electricity generation support policy data
This dataset contains detailed, machine-readable data on support policies for renewable energy from the years 2000-2024 for all EU countries and the UK. It inclues the following support policy instruments:
- Feed-in Tariffs (FITs)
- Feed-in Premiums (FIPs)
- Auctions for renewable energy capacity
- Loan guarantees
- Soft loans
- Subsidies
- Tax incentives (tax rebates, tax reductions)
- Tradeable Green Certificates (TGCs)
- Emissions trading (cap-and-trade)
- Carbon taxes
These datasets contain detailed, machine-readable data on support policies for renewable energy from the years 2000-2024 for all EU countries and the UK. The work was performed by Silvia Wekoⁱ, Franziska Boldⁱ, Aksornchan Chaianongⁱ, Dogukan Günkördüⁱ, Daria Lebedevaⁱ, Puru Malhotraⁱ*, Ioannis Milioritsasⁱ, Johannes Weißⁱ, and Johan Lilliestamⁱ, during 2024-2026.
