Imagine a universe where all forces, particles, and fundamental constants are not separate ingredients, but symptoms of a single, elegant cosmic tension. This is the starting point of the Yin-Yang (YY) Cosmological Model, a bold proposal that seeks to retell the story of the cosmos from minimal geometric principles.

Instead of beginning with four fundamental forces, point particles, and a flexible spacetime, the YY model proposes that all physical reality emerges from the dynamic interplay between two complementary principles:

  • Yin: the tendency to contract, curve, and concentrate.

  • Yang: the tendency to expand, record, and dissipate.

The stage where this tension balances is a three-dimensional membrane called the "Now," with a fixed, minimal thickness. What we perceive as matter (protons, electrons) are "resonance cavities" in this membrane, and forces (gravity, electromagnetism) are simply different modes of local tension relief, guided by a single law: the Principle of Least Accessible Energy (PMEA).

The arrow of time and the very expansion of the universe receive a radical geometric interpretation: time arises from the counting of discrete "ticks" from a minimal angular slip (the slip), and cosmic expansion is actually the growth of the "memory archive" in Yang, where the entire history of the universe is irreversibly recorded.
