Nazca Geoglyph System: Geospatial and Hydraulic Research Report
Description
This record contains a technical research dossier presenting a quantitative
geospatial and hydraulic analysis of the Nazca geoglyph system in southern Peru.
The work evaluates a testable functional hypothesis in which the geoglyphs are
interpreted as components of a landscape-scale hydraulic infrastructure designed
to regulate surface flow, dissipate hydraulic energy, and enhance sedimentation
and subsurface infiltration in an extreme arid environment.
