Conference information:

19th Cedefop Brussels Seminar organised in cooperation with the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU. This edition focused on active citizenship and the role that vocational education and training (VET) plays in supporting it. The seminar presented the first findings from Cedefop’s 2025-27 study on citizenship education in initial VET, alongside contributions from a range of European policymakers, education experts, and civil society representatives.

The overall objective of Cedefop’s Key competences in vocational education and training (VET) project is to promote the development and integration of key competences in VET in Europe through research and evidence-based policy advice.
