Description
This document presents the results of the design and testing of two composite operation amplifiers (COPAs) suitable for use in precision digitisers. One is intended for use in the front end circuitry of the digitiser and the other for use in the integrator stage of a digitiser which uses an integrating ADC. The COPAs feature high open loop gain, low noise and low distortion. The tools used to characterise the performance of the COPAs are also descirbed.
