The Marketing of Online Sex Education Courses in Wartime: Libidinal Economies, Castrated Masculinities, and the Archetypal Imperatives of Eros Amid Crisis

In the interminable rupture of wartime Ukraine, where the national body politic is perpetually sutured and desutured through the biopolitical management of life and the necropolitical administration of death, the figure of the soldier-slave emerges not as a heroic hypostasis but as the abject supplement that exposes the pharmacopornographic regime’s constitutive failure to produce a coherent, self-identical subject. This essay, drawing on Foucault’s biopolitics as the regulatory optimization of populations through the incitement of life (Foucault 1978), Mbembe’s necropolitics as the sovereign decision over who must die and how (Mbembe 2003), and Preciado’s pharmacopornographic intensification of power at the molecular level of excitation and commodification (Preciado 2013), interrogates the neologistic construct of “biosociosdeath” — a hybrid that fuses the biosocial production of subjectivity with the social death theorized by Patterson (1982) as the natal alienation and dishonor of the slave, extended here to the living-dead status of the conscripted body under necropolitical decree. In this framework, the “anal torments” of the soldier-slave — literal fears of penetration, violation, and homoerotic subjugation amid the homoerotic undercurrents of military conscription — function not as mere psychological symptoms but as the obscene surplus of jouissance that the regime must incite, channel, and abject to maintain its illusory coherence. The Ukrainian Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC), rounding up “cabinet wankers” into buses for the frontlines, enact a biopolitical triage that necropolitically selects for death while pharmacopornographically modulating bodies through testosterone-fueled aggression, pornographic fantasies of dominance, and the commodified terror of anal violation, revealing the soldier-slave as the paradigmatic site where life is optimized only to be rendered disposable, where social death precedes biological demise in a biosociosdeath that haunts the nation’s reproductive futurism.
