Description
Sir William Vallance Douglas Hodge (1903-1975) proposed the famous
Hodge Conjecture, one of the most important and complex problems in
modern mathematics concerning the structure of certain geometric spaces,
which connects algebraic geometry with differential geometry.
The HODGE conjecture is true, and it can be demonstrated as a simple algebraic manipulation. In this manipulation, the intimate connection between an
algebraic expression and geometry is realized.
