Supplementary Dataset for the Article: Comparative Analysis of the Effectiveness and Efficiency of 25 Ton and 20 Ton Loading Strategies at the Domestic Loading Dock in the Shipping Area of PT. XYZ
Description
This dataset contains the supplementary data underlying the article “Comparative Analysis of the Effectiveness and Efficiency of 25 Ton and 20 Ton Loading Strategies at the Domestic Loading Dock in the Shipping Area of PT. XYZ.” It includes three months of operational shipping records (August–October 2025), covering 76,591 tons of outbound volume distributed across 3,291 truck trips. The core variables comprise trip date, truck type (20-ton, 25-ton, 30-ton), destination region, tonnage per trip, loading start and end time, and key performance indicators derived for the study (loading time per trip, throughput in tons per hour, and dock utilization). The dataset also provides aggregated tables for daily target achievement, breakdown of tonnage and trips by loading strategy, and summarized delay categories used in the Pareto and root cause analyses. All data have been anonymized to remove customer identifiers and any commercially sensitive information, while preserving the structure required to reproduce the main analyses reported in the article, including calculation of throughput, dock utilization scenarios, and the linear programming optimization of truck mix configurations. The dataset is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and further research on warehouse loading performance, truck scheduling, and operational optimization in petrochemical and similar high-volume logistics environments.
