ANALYZING MAJOR LINGUISTIC THEORIES RELATED TO SYNTAX AND COM-MUNICATION
Authors/Creators
Description
Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of major linguistic theories related to syntax and communication. It traces the historical development of syntactic thought from early structuralist approaches to contemporary functional, pragmatic, and cognitive models. Particular attention is paid to the ways in which syntactic structures function within communicative contexts and how different theoretical paradigms conceptualize the interaction between form, meaning, and use. The study also discusses the implications of these theories for applied linguistics, discourse analysis, and language teaching, emphasizing the necessity of an integrative approach to syntax and communication.
