Description

The dataset consists of raw tactile signals acquired using a neuromorphic tactile sensing system during controlled texture-exploration experiments.

The recordings were collected using an 8-unit PVDF (P(VDF-TrFE)) piezoelectric tactile sensor array mounted on a sensorized fingertip.

  • 12 naturalistic textures (Texture 1 – Texture 12)
  • 3 participants (PART1, PART2, PART3)
  • 1 trial per texture per participant
  • Total recordings: 36
