EL-1 v1.0 — Core English Emotional Lexicon (500-Term Canonical Edition)

  • 1. https://www.optimizeyourcapabilities.com/

Description

The 500‑term expanded lexicon of the Core Emotion Framework, establishing the foundational emotional states and the TS‑6 hybrid symbolic–vector schema used throughout the EL‑Series.

Abstract

EL-1 v1.0 presents the first complete, canonical edition of the Core English Emotional
Lexicon within the Core Emotion Framework (CEF). Expanding from the 200-term
developmental edition (v0.4) to a comprehensive 500-term lexicon, this release
establishes the full semantic resolution of the CEF emotional ontology. Each entry is
represented using the TS-6 hybrid symbolic–vector schema, ensuring structural
precision, drift-resistant mapping, and machine-readable emotional geometry.
The v1.0 expansion introduces 300 new emotional microstates, including
high-resolution “soft” affective states, relational nuances, motivational gradients,
existential micro-modes, and cognitive-affective blends. All entries preserve
cumulative integrity with earlier editions (v0.1–v0.4) and maintain strict
representational discipline to prevent conceptual drift. This edition serves as the
definitive reference for emotional semantics within the CEF canon and provides a
stable foundation for research, modeling, and affective computing applications.

Preface

EL-1 v1.0 marks the completion of a multi-stage developmental arc that began with
the 10-term seed set (v0.1) and expanded through the 50-term (v0.2), 120-term
(v0.3), and 200-term (v0.4) editions. This volume presents the fully realized 500-term
emotional lexicon, offering the highest-resolution mapping of English emotional
expressions within the CEF architecture.
The purpose of this edition is threefold:
1. To establish a complete, drift-resistant emotional ontology grounded in the
TS-6 hybrid symbolic–vector schema.
2. To provide a comprehensive reference lexicon spanning foundational,
relational, motivational, cognitive-affective, existential, moral, aesthetic, and
threat–safety domains.
3. To finalize the canonical structure of the EL-Series for use in research,
modeling, and cross-linguistic extensions.
All entries in this volume adhere strictly to the CEF’s representational standards. No
prior entries have been altered; the lexicon is fully cumulative and historically stable.
