Description

Arvelius albopunctatus (De Geer, 1773)

Material examined. Brazil: Pernambuco — Tupanatinga, CNP, Trilha para Igrejinha; 08°29'37.7"S, 37°15'07"W; alt. 900 m; 20/III/2019; Sweep net; 1♂ (MZSPHEM0013122); Gonçalves CC leg.

Distribution. A—Ceará, Pernambuco (new record), and Bahia. B—Roraima, Pará, Amazonas, Maranhão, Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul. C— United States of America, Mexico, Cuba, Haiti Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Belize, Anguilla, Guatemala, Antigua and Barbuda, Honduras, Monserrat, Colombia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, Panama, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, and Uruguay.
