Description
Additional material for 'Aerosols and hydrocarbons in the atmosphere of a white dwarf planet' by MacDonald et al., (2026).
This repository contains four data products:
- White Dwarf Spectra — JWST observed host spectrum of WD 1856 and the best-fitting model.
- Transmission spectra — Planetary transmission spectra of WD 1856b from two data reduction codes (FIREFLy and Juniper) observed by JWST's NIRSpec PRISM.
- Retrieval Outputs — Statistical samples from the POSEIDON atmospheric retrieval code for the FIREFLy and Juniper transmission spectra.
- Retrieval Code — Python file for reproduction of the POSEIDON retrieval results.
