SCOPE: The Structural Constitution of Physical Explanation
Authors/Creators
Description
This work introduces SCOPE (Structural Constitution of Physical Explanation), a
foundational reconstruction of physics formulated at the level of admissibility rather than
ontology. SCOPE specifies the necessary and sufficient conditions under which a statement
may count as physically meaningful, when such a statement exists, and when the correct
scientific output is undefined.
The framework forbids primitives, enforces quotient primacy, commissions universals only
through scan-correct tribunal protocols, and derives matter, time, geometry, and gravity
as regime-dependent effective constructions. Universality is defined jurisdictionally rather
than expansively: all physically admissible descriptions fall within the scope of the same
constitution, while many conceivable descriptions are excluded as non-physical.
SCOPE is not a model of the universe. It is a constitution for what it means to do physics
at all.
