Description
Stryker redesigned bone implant medical packaging to reduce material use and simplify the production process. Conventional packaging components were replaced with foil-based solutions and reduced labels. LCA results indicate a 38.1% reduction in carbon footprint, mainly driven by lower energy and material requirements. LCC shows a 48% cost reduction per package, highlighting the value of smart design choices in medical packaging.
