Abstract
This research paper explores the significance of Social-Emotional Learning in overall development of learner in several ways. It is one of the critical issues concerning not only individual level but also social level. The government developed many programs and ideas to enhance student’s mental health and take them away from mental stress and trauma. Social emotional learning (SEL) is a methodology that helps students of all ages to better comprehend their emotions, to feel those all emotions, and demonstrate empathy for others. These learned behaviors are then used to help students to take positive and responsible decisions. This study evaluates the effectiveness of SEL program on students’ mental health, behavior and academic achievements. It is a new concept in modern education policy for students to enrich the skills of communication and boost the self confidence among them. Mental stability of student is as important as intelligence because the modern student should handle all kind of problems and traumas rather surrender him.
