An ε-Lattice Hypothesis for the Cosmic Baryon Asymmetry
Authors/Creators
Description
The observed Universe contains far more matter than antimatter, commonly summarized by the baryon-to-photon ratio η_B ~ 6×10⁻¹⁰. This preprint develops a working hypothesis organized by an “ε-lattice,” where a single small parameter ε ≡ √(m_μ/m_τ) ≈ 0.243851 supports approximate integer-power relations q ≈ C εⁿ with order-one coefficients.
Two macro-scale quantities align with this ladder: A_s ≈ 0.80 ε¹⁴ and η_B ≈ 0.95 ε¹⁵. A key “flavor bridge” update reframes baryogenesis using the comoving-conserved baryon yield Y_B ≡ n_B/s and finds a near-identity at electroweak scale (μ = M_Z, MS scheme): Y_B ≈ (y_d y_s y_b)/y_t³, giving an order-one bridge constant K_B ≈ 1.02 with current inputs.
This deposit is a hypothesis + test program (not a validated baryogenesis theory). It includes a reproducibility script (Python) and input data to regenerate the headline ε-lattice numbers and bridge checks, plus “null tests” intended to falsify spurion choices and constrain mechanism-building toward a Sakharov-satisfying model.
