Description

The constitutional crisis unfolding in the United States in 2025 cannot be adequately explained by traditional models of authoritarianism. This paper introduces a new analytical framework centered on three original concepts: Reality Inversion, a form of psychological coercion that replaces shared public reality with a falsified one; Administrative Force, the deployment of bureaucratic purges and institutional sabotage as a method of sedition; and the Non-linear, Swarm-Based Authoritarian Mutation, whose actions do not follow the predictable, sequential patterns observed in twentieth century regimes.

Drawing on political science, legal scholarship, and recent empirical evidence, including Schedule F implementation, election subversion initiatives, and coordinated disinformation ecosystems, this paper argues that sedition law must evolve to recognize non-physical forms of force. It proposes expanding the legal understanding of “force” to include epistemic coercion and administrative sabotage, and it outlines a framework for interpreting networked, decentralized conspiracies as legitimate targets of sedition prosecution.

This work concludes by proposing an interpretive framework for ‘force’ and ‘conspiracy’ that treats administrative sabotage and epistemic coercion as legally cognizable mechanisms of constitutional subversion. This framework was developed and substantially completed prior to the January 2026 Venezuela military operation, and the ICE involved shooting in Minneapolis. Both of which occurred as the paper was being finalized and subsequently aligned with mechanisms anticipated in the framework about administrative mechanisms bypassing constitutional powers.
