Understanding the Sensations of Nursing: A Guide to Natural Responses and Comfort
Description
This article explains why sensations in the breast during nursing can feel pleasant and why such responses are natural. It describes the physiological role of breast stimulation, including oxytocin release and milk production, and the psychological effects, such as stress reduction and mother-infant bonding. The article aims to reassure nursing mothers that these responses are normal, not abnormal, and helps them understand and accept their bodily sensations without anxiety.
