Description

In the context of rapid global transformation, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) has shifted from a mere technical advancement to a new cognitive paradigm that redefines psychological, social, and educational landscapes. This paper presents a comprehensive, critical review of AI's applications across educational and psychological domains, synthesizing findings on its pedagogical efficacy, its influence on human-computer interaction, and its profound ethical and philosophical implications. The analysis demonstrates that AI-driven tools can significantly enhance learning outcomes through personalized, adaptive systems, with meta-analyses showing substantial positive effects. The paper also addresses the central paradox of this integration: AI's unprecedented capacity for data analysis and content personalization is inextricably linked to critical challenges, including the potential for algorithmic bias, the erosion of human-to-human relationships, and the legal and ethical complexities of data privacy and accountability. This review argues for a human-centered approach to AI governance, one that prioritizes the professional roles of educators and psychologists as ethical facilitators, addresses systemic inequalities embedded in technology, and ensures that technological innovation serves to augment, rather than diminish, human agency and well-being.
