MARS Multi-Camera Cotton Boll Dataset

Description

Dataset of images captured by the MARS robot in a defoliated cotton field using six synchronized cameras. The cameras are arranged to provide a complete view of the plots. The naming convention is as follows:

clip<num>_cam<num>_frame<num>.jpg

The data are sourced from several long videos recorded in the field. The clip number starts at zero and is incremented every time a minimum number of frames are skipped due to a lack of detected motion.

The cameras are numbered from 0-5.

The frame numbers are unique within each clip. Any images with the same clip and frame numbers will be synchronized in time.

There are two parts to the dataset: real and synthetic. The real data were collected with the actual robot in the field. The synthetic data were generated using a model of the robot and field in Nvidia Omniverse.
