Movie M1: Shows the time-lapse video of a two-population heterospecies scenario. The tethered Ter population (magenta) is monitored while the Hom population is flowed into the flow-cell. The Ter population is observed to grow in this scenario, showing that it acts as a ‘predator’. Scale bar is 10μm.
