Description

Endromopoda detrita (Holmgren, 1860)

Notes

The biology of this species is well known. Endromopoda spp. are mostly associated with concealed hosts in Poaceae stems (Broad et al. 2018). This renders hibernation rather unlikely, even when Hinz and Kreissl (1993) allegedly found a specimen below bark (in May).

Status: Incorrect.

Records: Austria, 14. V. 1992.

Sources: Hinz and Kreissl (1993) [Scambus detritus Hlgr.].
